Thank you, Ms. Holmes! There are many Detroit residents who are very much interested in reviving the memory of Black Bottom, and for many reasons! I think that the publication of this book was necessary, particularly in light of the social, economic, and political challenges faced by Detroit. I think that readers will be amazed at what this small community was able to achieve with little or nothing, in the face of real racism and discrimination. I think the contrast between the 'then' and the 'now' in the sense of where we are as a community should shed some light on what we can achieve - especially in this great age of technological advancements, educational opportunities, etc. I hope the book revitalizes hope, stimulate reflection, and encourages change. Thank you, and I look forward to seeing you at the book release party on NOVEMBER 7TH AT CASS CAFE NEAR WAYNE STATE UNIVERSITY. VISIT MY WEBSITE FOR DETAILS!!!

Enjoyed your interview with Jeremy Williams. I am very anxious to read his new release. There are still so many residents in Detroit who savor the memories of Detroit's Black Bottom era. I'm sure they will be excited to see this new release. Jeremy is a very interesting young man with a lot of promise. He is well on his way to becoming one of America's prized authors. Thanks for the interview!
