Whether or not the drug trade is agreeable, if that is what you know you can't shy away from incorporating your knowledge in your works of fiction. I could gain some understanding of the life of a drug seller and not have to feel like I am judging them. I remember my early childhood was tainted by the issue because they was a drug dealer next door to me. I thank God that I wasn't swayed or drawn to being on the inside of that activity but now, I think it would be important to know what exactly goes on so I can open someone's eyes with the little I know about it so that I can help lessen the presence of drugs in urban communitites. The interview's really help me decide which books I must buy. I love to read urban fiction novels. I like to get the raw and real truth. This one sounds like a lot of real pain and heartache went into this novel. The bond between brothers, and stories about their personal expericnces draw me to a book. I've heard that the streets posess a serious strong-hold on many. "You can take the person out the street, but you can't take the street out the person" People can change though. I hope this book gets into the right hands, so the vicious cycle can stop! It's never to late for change. Change is good! Great Interview Joey!
