You right, it's good that we didn't know our opinions. Because small things like that often get in the way of the bigger picture.

My experience in interviewing you was more important than petty opinions. I guess that goes both ways.

I'm glad to have made your aquaintance and interviewed you regardless of how we feel about sexuality or religion.

I certainly had not idea you felt that way, and it's probably a good thing that I didn't. But I appreciate that you included my interview after all. You don't have to agree with a subject to appreciate talent. I am glad you overcame your doubts. As you said, like it or not...I am here, and I am as I am meant to be.

Peace and Prosperity.

At first, I decided to not include Ms. Philops in the mix. I was being hesitant because of her sexuality.

As I began to edit and re-read her interview, I felt more and more compelled to include her. So often, African American authors get marginalized. I hate that.

It's African Americans in positions like me that further cut out other African Americans because of what other people think. I don't agree with lesbianism, and I definitely don't think homosexuality and Christianity mix.

But who cares? I'm trying to expose talent. To exclude her would be a disservice to everyone. Like it or not...
