(Xlibris.com/Createspace.com)
Here is a book of cultural, artistic and spiritual proportions. Chapter one is composed of poetry and prose. Chapter two looks at society and our leaders past and present in a way that is truly uncommon.
Chapter three offers solutions as well as taking note of some overlooked information that can inspire and change a few attitudes towards personal well-being. The reader, if objectionable, will not come away emptied handed from reading this book.
Joey Pinkney: Where did you get the inspiration to write John Anthony Lewis! poetry, prose, and other selected writings?
Johnnie Reason: I mention in the introduction that this book was a light for me. I felt as if in darkness, and the book was the only way out.
JP: What sets John Anthony Lewis! poetry, prose, and other selected writings apart from other books in the same genre?
JR: There are DEFINITELY no other publications in existence that does what this book does to the reader. The article on white people alone is extremely different in its own message to the reader.
JP: As an author, what are the keys to your success that led to John Anthony Lewis! poetry, prose, and other selected writings getting out to the public?
J.A.L.: I believe answered prayer, patience, and persistence are the keys to successful exposure of this book.
JP: As an author, what is your writing process? How long did it take you to start and finish John Anthony Lewis! poetry, prose, and other selected writings?
JR: For this book, I was done in ninety days, complete with an index. (The index did not get published since hidden charges appeared after the manuscript was submitted.) The reason it was done so easily and so quickly was largely due to the many poems and articles already written. I only needed to give them structure.
JP: What’s next for John A. lewis?
JR: I look to continue writing, as well as working to develop the talent of those in the community. There are other projects in mind, although for now, my focus is with books.
