Na-Lisa’s world has been turned upside down by the death of her father the king and her brother. Her uncle has taken over and has great plans for the kingdom. Plans that include her. She is determined not to go along with them even if it means her untimely demise. She must get out or risk her immortal soul. Can she trust William to save her? Or is he just one of her uncle’s mindless minions?
Joey Pinkney: Where did you get the inspiration to write A Gentleman’s Luck?
Nicole Hill: I have always wondered what it would be like to have multiple men at my beck and call. So, I decided to write about someone who did but did not really want it.
JP: What sets A Gentleman’s Luck apart from other books in the same genre?
NH: I think my books are different from others in the same genre because I don’t really hold anything back. I write like people talk – no formalities or any of that nonsense.
JP: As an author, what are the keys to your success that led to A Gentleman’s Luck getting out to the public?
NH: As an author, I like to be as real with everyone as possible. I am not fake in any way, and I think that people can see that and actually want to see what I have to say.
JP: As an author, what is your writing process? How long did it take you to start and finish A Gentleman’s Luck?
NH: I write beginning middle and end. I do not plan or work on story lines before hand. I sit down, start typing and read what’s there when I finish. I wrote A Gentleman’s Luck in three days.
JP: What’s next for Nicole Hill?
NH: I am working on the second installment for a previous book, Legacy Forgotten. After that, more books. I have tons of stories; I just need the time to get them written down.
