National Author Interviews Examiner Column: Interview with GPA in three parts

Over the past couple of years, I’ve had the opportunity to interview the poet GPA for “The Confessional Heart of a Man”, “The Book of 24 Orgasms” and “The Mind of a Poetic Unsub” for JoeyPinkney.com.

In the wee hours of an insomnia-induced morning on Saturday, July 7, 2012, I put a request out for an impromptu, live author-interview on twitter. GPA, a seminal poet from Chicago, saw the tweet and responded. Within the hour, I set up a private chat room so that we could do a remote interview in real-time.
