Donnell Hicks: I got the inspiration to write Astronaut Jane Goes To Outer Space from a fellow author who writes children books as well. However, the initial idea to write a children book based on the solar system. The whole purpose was to educate the children about the realities of the solar system. Marc Avery: The inspiration to write Redemption Lost came from the idea of overcoming your struggles, facing your fears, and persevering despite roadblocks.
