Quest for Justice is a true account of stories of people who faced the death penalty and the criminal justice system and lived to tell about it!

Thirty-eight people have been wrongfully convicted landing them on death row. Quest features the Author/lawyer’s succesful exoneration of 3 of them and his representation of Eric Rudolph, the Olympic bomber.

Joey Pinkney: Where did you get the inspiration to write Quest for Justice: Defending the Damned?

Richard S Jaffe: I wrote Quest after 36 years of representing over 60 people who faced the death penalty and after defending 100’s of people in jury trials for their freedom and their lives.

JP: What sets Quest for Justice: Defending the Damned apart from other books in the same genre?

RSJ: No other book about true crime puts the reader in the courtroom and exposes the criminal justice system with such suspense… No other book tells the inside story of the real justice system in America.

JP: As an author, what are the keys to your success that led to Quest for Justice: Defending the Damned getting out to the public?

RSJ: Quest tells real stories but it reads like a mystery novel. Those who have read it could not put it down.

JP: As an author, what is your writing process? How long did it take you to start and finish Quest for Justice: Defending the Damned?

RSJ: I wrote Quest over an 8 year period due to a daunting trial schedule, but the story needed to be told honestly.

JP: What’s next for Richard S Jaffe?

RSJ: Another book involving more real stories of people facing death in a flawed system.
