5 Minutes, 5 Questions With…
Sabrina A Eubanks, author of Chasing Bliss
(G Street Chronicles)
“Chasing Bliss” is a love story in which Chase Brown meets Bliss Riley. It’s love at first sight, but Chase has a few secrets. He’d almost be the perfect man if it weren’t for the fact that he kills people with a straight razor for his overbearing brother Cyrus, who is harboring an old deep hate for Chase for very valid reasons.
Joey Pinkney: Where did you get the inspiration to write “Chasing Bliss”?
Sabrina A Eubanks: “Chasing Bliss” was written because I wanted to tell a beautiful love story that is threatened by psychosis, murder and old family secrets.
JP: What sets Chasing Bliss apart from other books in the same genre?
SAE: I think the actual love story sets “Chasing Bliss” apart. It’s a deep, “I’ll do anyhing for you,” love. That and the fact that Chase Brown is a very memorable character. You’ll hate the things he does, but you’ll root for him all the same.
JP: As an author, what are the keys to your success that led to Chasing Bliss getting out to the public?
SAE: A good publisher, a good fan base, and most of all, a really, really good story!
JP: As an author, what is your writing process? How long did it take you to start and finish Chasing Bliss?
SAE: I wrote “Chasing Bliss” in about 4 months. I can write anywhere, notebook or computer. The process is easy. What isn’t easy is time management.
JP: What’s next for Sabrina A Eubanks?
SAE: I very recently dropped a very hot little short story, “Santa Baby”, for the holidays. My next release will be “Pandora”. She’s a female assassin. It should release in January or early February.
