Will Mrs. Daniels get the Sweet Innocence she deserves, or will her past continue to crowd her future?
Joey Pinkney: Where did you get the inspiration to write Sweet Innocence?
Krystol: Sweet Innocence is my second novel. I got inspired to write this book because I know someone who was abused by her father. I thought what if I write a book where the victim gets the revenge that she deserves.
JP: What sets Sweet Innocence apart from other books in the same genre?
K: I think that my thriller novel is unique. This novel will keep you on your toes, and wanting more.
JP: As an author, what are the keys to your success that led to Sweet Innocence getting out to the public?
K: Working hard and having a great support system.
JP: As an author, what is your writing process? How long did it take you to start and finish Sweet Innocence?
K: There are times when I’m not in the mood to write, but I still try to do it anyway. Once the juices get to flowing, I can’t stop writing.
It took me about two months to write Sweet Innocence. I changed so many scenes until I had the perfect one. Writing and rewriting will always be fun to me. I can make the characters be who ever I want them to be!
JP: What’s next for Krystol?
K: Well, I have a short story series that is out only on ebook, called Jazzy’s Bitch (Part 1 and Part 2). My debut novel Through Her Eyes is out as well. I’m working on a new novel called Tears of Joy. I hope to have that done soon and available sometime in 2012.
