The Victory Unlimited Battle Plan is a book written to inspire, instruct and motivate men to be the best men that they can be, both in their relationships and in their everyday lives.
Joey Pinkney: Where did you get the inspiration to write The Victory Unlimited Battle Plan – The Classified Intel on How to Win the War to Attract, Engage, and Execute BETTER relationships with Women by becoming a BETTER Man!?
Victory Unlimited: I got the idea for writing the book from a variety of sources. First, “Victory Unlimited” was a comic-book styled nickname that I came up with a long time ago, because my Granddad and I used to watch a lot of old war movies when I was growing up. Then when I became an adult, I started using it as my screen name on various men’s advice websites and discussion boards.
After awhile, I became known for my ability to use comical, and sometimes controversial, “War” references and analogies to teach men ways to win in life. So, after years of answering questions, giving advice, and helping people through private coaching, I decided that the best way to reach more people was to write it all down.
I’d written other books and graphic novels under my “civilian” name, but I wanted to write this one under my “Victory Unlimited” pseudonym instead. That way, the audience base that I’d already established would be able to recognize me as the author. My intention, my “mission”, was to write not just a book, but a massive manual, a comprehensive guide, and an electronic “Boot Camp” that men of all ages could use to better their lives on all fronts. The end result was a nearly 600-page document of classified Intel on what it takes to successfully attract, engage, and execute better relationships with women by first becoming a better man.
The rationale behind making attracting, engaging, and executing better relationships with women the primary focus, and making workable life strategies the secondary focus was due to the sheer number of men who contacted me asking for help in these two specific areas. Women first. Life Strategies, second. What struck me was just how important, how intertwined, and how critical male/female relationships are to our overall happiness, success, and fulfillment. I’ve met a lot of guys who have a tendency to lose themselves and lose their focus on achieving their life’s mission when their interactions with the women in their lives get out of balance.
The Victory Unlimited Battle Plan is all about providing men with actionable Intel on how to properly and consistently treat themselves with respect, treat the woman in their lives with respect, and treat the relationship that they each share together with respect.
Think of it this way: If Sun Tzu was a “brotha” living in the 21st century, and he wanted to write a book that teaches guys how to “Win the War” to have the best lives and relationships possible, he would have called it The Victory Unlimited Battle Plan.
JP: What sets The Victory Unlimited Battle Plan – The Classified Intel on How to Win the War to Attract, Engage, and Execute BETTER relationships with Women by becoming a BETTER Man! apart from other books in the same genre?
VU: There are many books written on the subject of “How to get girls”. There are many books written about “How to take charge of your life”. There are also even more books written about “How to live a more meaningful life”. However, The Victory Unlimited Battle Plan is the only book that combines all three of these critical pursuits of men into one massive text. It’s not just something to read, it’s a way of life to be lived.
My inspiration for writing it this way comes from my ongoing desire to help other men, like myself, become better men today than they were yesterday. Life is not a compartmentalized quest; it’s an all-encompassing journey that takes us in so many directions and through so many things that it mandates that we better ourselves in all areas of our lives – not just “some”.
It’s my view that seeking to increase our understanding while showing little regard for maintaining our honor in the process tends to lower us as men. However, by contrast, the acquisition of knowledge combined with the simultaneous cultivation of higher character tends to not only elevate us as men, it also helps to elevate those around us. That’s the major difference between what I’ve written and much of what you’ll find in similar writings by comparison.
Also, my book is written in a brand-new militaristic-style that many will find very entertaining as well as educational. I’ve created a whole new language of looking at life and love that readers won’t find anywhere else. After reading it, you’ll never look at terms like “Bomb Threat”, “Exit Strategies”, “The Arms Race”, “The Stalker Prevention Protocols”, and “The Marriage Mission” the same way ever again.
JP: As an author, what are the keys to your success that led to The Victory Unlimited Battle Plan – The Classified Intel on How to Win the War to Attract, Engage, and Execute BETTER relationships with Women by becoming a BETTER Man! getting out to the public?
VU: Well, in order to build upon the initial success, I achieved by portraying the character “Victory Unlimited” through my writings on the Internet, I decided I wanted to take it to a whole new level. On a whim, I launched my own Internet Radio show as a way to reach more people all over the world.
The Victory Unlimited Show is a “tongue-in-cheek”, self-help show for men that’s reminiscent of programs from the Golden Age of Radio like “The Shadow”, “Flash Gordon”, or “The Green Hornet”. During each broadcast, under the codename of “Victory Unlimited”, I answer dating, relationship, and general life questions by addressing them with a motivational, military-like zeal.
The success of that show via my website and it’s growing presence on Facebook and Twitter are the three primary ways that most readers become aware of the existence of the Plan.
JP: As an author, what is your writing process? How long did it take you to start and finish The Victory Unlimited Battle Plan – The Classified Intel on How to Win the War to Attract, Engage, and Execute BETTER relationships with Women by becoming a BETTER Man!?
VU: The actionable Intel contained in my book actually took me at least 25 years to live, experience, and learn. However, the actual “putting pen to paper” or rather, the actual “typing the document to file” took me the better part of a year.
My thought process was to divide the information that I wanted to share into sections. I wanted it to thoroughly address every challenge a man would encounter on his mission to successfully relate to the women in his life——from adolescent to senior citizen. I wanted to present as many relationship-life scenarios as possible, along with the corresponding strategies on how to handle each of them. I wanted to come up with code words and terminologies to define every relationship scenario that men would ever face. I wanted to give men exercises, or “missions” at the end of many of the chapters that they would be inspired and motivated to accomplish.
Again, I believe in being thorough. That’s why the book is as lengthy as it is. I wanted to write an instructional book about honor, manhood, and relationship dynamics that both men and women would be proud to also give to their teenaged sons as a supplement to their own teachings.
My vision was to create something that men would get just as much value from in the future as they will right now.
JP: What’s next for Victory Unlimited?
VU: Next for Victory Unlimited? Why, “World Domination”, of course! Just kidding. Seriously though, what’s next for me is to continue doing what I’m doing. My plan is to reach more men, and the women who love them, by continuing to do my show and continuing to write.
I know that there are a lot of good guys out there struggling to be better men, and I’m committed to helping them by almost any means necessary to achieve that goal. I know that a happy, fulfilled, honorable man who respects himself is exactly what the majority of good women are out there looking for.
My mission is to do my part to inspire and motivate men to be better men today than they were yesterday and have as much fun in the process as humanly possible.
