Nina Simmone, author of Echoes Resound Forever

Echoes Resound Forever is a collection of poetry including a couple of short stories about life. It has the scent of love and the emotions involved with coping, rejoicing, and understanding such a powerful emotion.
Joey Pinkney: Where did you get the inspiration to write Echoes Resound Forever?
Nina Simmone: I was inspired after losing my companion to a motorcycle accident.
JP: What sets Echoes Resound Forever apart from other books in the same genre?
Ns.: My array of words are woven together with different pieces of life’s experience that keeps us human.
JP: As an author, what are the keys to your success that led to Echoes Resound Forever getting out to the public?
Ns.: Being friendly. It takes a friend to be a friend and we should all share information. Besides, someone had to give us the information needed in order for us to persevere.
JP: As an author, what is your writing process? How long did it take you to start and finish Echoes Resound Forever?
Ns.: I sat down and purged. It took me seven months from beginning to completion, which includes up loading it to be published.
JP: What’s next for Nina Simmone?
Ns.: I’m teetering on the idea of a children’s book and a collection of short stories with a homespun flair.
