Chloe Je’Nore , author of Droppin’ Dimes

My book is about two women. One good-girl-turned bad and one bad girl-turned worse. Mar’kel is young, ambitious and sexy – but a drama magnet. Isis is Mar’kel’s ex-bff. Both women are sexy and both women have deep secrets that can send their worlds tumbling.

Joey Pinkney: Where did you get the inspiration to write Droppin’ Dimes?

Chloe Je’Nore : I became inspired after watching the Maury Povich show and everyday life. I know women with similar character traits to my female characters. Life is my everyday inspiration.

JP: What sets Droppin’ Dimes apart from other books in the same genre?

CJ : My book is so down-to-earth and realistic. It’s not what you write but how you write it. I tell stories differently.

JP: As an author, what are the keys to your success that led to Droppin’ Dimes getting out to the public?

CJ : Motivation, patience and more motivation. Those are my keys.

JP: As an author, what is your writing process? How long did it take you to start and finish Droppin’ Dimes?

CJ : I don’t have one. I just write, writing is a part of my everyday life. It took me a month to write Droppin’ Dimes because I knew exactly what I wanted to say.

JP: What’s next for Chloe Je’Nore ?

CJ : A sequel to Droppin’ Dimes, book signings and hopefully success. But it’s all in the Lord’s hands, ya know? Stay tuned to find out more.
