Echo of Her Cry is about a teenaged girl named Myla Pickins who is faced with the challenges of becoming a young mother. As soon as she accepts the reality of it all, she’s faced with the unexpected.

I’m sure your eyes will be glued to the book from the first chapter to the last. The book also ends with a shocker. It’s going to be a three book series also.

Joey Pinkney: Where did you get the inspiration to write Echo Of Her Cry?

Jamie Jones: I decided to write Echo of Her Cry because it’s realistic. I’m sure a lot of people will be able to relate to all the characters. Without giving anything in the book away, I can say that I wanted to write about teen pregnancy from a different yet realistic perspective. You have to read the book to know what I’m talking about.

JP: What sets Echo of Her Cry apart from other books in the same genre?

JJ: My book is realistic. Experiencing the things that the character, Myla Pickins, experienced doesn’t end with a happily-ever-after overnight. It takes time to recover and accept certain things. That’s why the word ‘echo’ is there. It’s repetitive before it fades; referring to her many days and nights of crying

JP: As an author, what are the keys to your success that led to Echo of Her Cry getting out to the public?

JJ: It may not happen overnight, but hard work and determination is what it takes.

JP: As an author, what is your writing process? How long did it take you to start and finish Echo Of Her Cry?

JJ: I usually write early in the morning or late at night. It took me about four months from start to finish Echo of Her Cry.

JP: What’s next for Jamie Jones?

JJ: I really want Echo of Her Cry to capture people’s attention. It’s a great book. I’m sure you will not be disappointed after you read. I’m about to start writing part two.

Please purchase a copy for yourself and all your family and friends. It’s released in May. I’ll keep everyone posted on exact date later on. It will also make a great graduation gift for those who know someone who will be graduating in a few months.
