JoeyPinkney.com Exclusive Interview
5 Minutes, 5 Questions With…
Samara King, author of Undressed Inc Anthology (Black Honey)
(Eclectic Soul Publications Inc)
Undressed Inc., the women you meet are an eclectic bunch. The connection? The melding of sexual desire and any means necessary to satisfy it. Sit back and enjoy the ride! Four sexy stories bring readers front and center as four dynamic women enjoy every drop of pleasure they can get.
Joey Pinkney: Where did you get the inspiration to write Undressed Inc Anthology (Black Honey)?
Samara King: Black Honey came to me in pieces. The characters were elusive at first, but inspiration came from various sources, articles and playing what-if.
JP: What sets Undressed Inc Anthology (Black Honey) apart from other books in the same genre?
SK: Black Honey is part of an erotic romantic drama anthology. An interracial romance, I think Black Honey fuses the sensuality factor and weaves in emotion simultaneously.
JP: As an author, what are the keys to your success that led to Undressed Inc Anthology (Black Honey) getting out to the public?
SK: I’m always willing to try something different and do not mind leading away from the pack. This pattern has narrated most of my writing career.
JP: As an author, what is your writing process? How long did it take you to start and finish Undressed Inc Anthology (Black Honey)?
SK: I usually start writing after I have a grasp of who my characters and know what their primarily wants are and go from there. Black Honey took about a month to complete.
JP: What’s next for Samara King?
SK: I’m working on a couple of novellas, a new mystery series, Mama Has A Brand New Bag and Black Honey II: Sweeter Than This.
