“Exhale” is a twisted look into the world of abuse. It touches many aspects of child, verbal, physical, drug and alcohol abuse all while living it through the main character, Butterflii Fields. We journey with her as she tries to overcome her tormented past and reach for a new future. Butta, as she likes to be called, finds love, only to have her love put to the ultimate test by way of her relationship with her only friend, Georgia.

Natasha Jacobs is a successful young woman who works for one of Atlanta’s most successful marketing firms, Emerson & Stuckey. Sloan Stevens is an ambitious young man working his way up the corporate ladder at Emerson & Stuckey.

Janie De Coster: I got the inspiration to write Frienemies while a friend and I chatted about relationships. The topic was backstabbers and how you couldn’t trust the very ones you had faith in.
