Hidden Butterflies is a non-fiction epic tale follows Nikki, a young lady that had a promising future, through bouts of depression after the murder of her father, being married to an abusive, drug-addicted man, ending up homeless with four children, and how she finally took her life back from her abuser.

Hidden Butterflies serves as a cautionary tale two women that shows what can happen when we do not develop our own self-esteem and also the importance of instilling this self-worth in our daughters. My book takes a look into my past and illustrates the behavior of a woman with no self-love trying to fill that empty space with the love of a man.

My hope is that my tale will also motivate women to never give up on themselves, that their past does not dictate their future, and that it is never too late to take control over your own life.
