Aaron Douglas passed away February 3, 1979. He was an African American painter and a major figure in the Harlem Renaissance. When given the title of Father of African American Arts, he stated, “Do not call me the Father of African American Arts, for I am just a son of Africa, and paint for what inspires me.”

I luv African American artists and the Harlem Renaissance. If there were any way I could afford this book, I would buy it. Thanks for sharing. I just can’t afford it.
I do like the Short Story Kindle Competition…Thanks.
