“The Glass House Killer” is a collection of thirteen, suspenseful short stories that illustrate the darkness, the violence and the raw emotion that lurk below the surface of everyday lives. The stories explore themes such as abuse, infatuation, mental illness and revenge.

Joey Pinkney: Where did you get the inspiration to write “The Glass House Killer”?

Nick C. Roberts: I’ve lived in four different countries, met all kinds of weird and wonderful people, and had a wide range of experiences. Zen Cooper has been gone from Center City for over three years. At age twenty, she has earned a degree from Howard University and plans to go home for a short stay before returning to Howard to become an assistant.

But there are Zen’s plans, and then there is life…

Her father Charlie has been away in Africa for three years, seeking wellness and her mother is still mired down in fear and a lack of confidence in who she is. Her grandmother, Willie Mae is determined to control what goes on around her, while unable to control herself.

More interesting is the new dancer who has shown up in town with plans of his own, that might include Zen, especially since Zen Cooper is a “grown woman” now.

Joey Pinkney: Where did you get the inspiration to write “Zen Cooper: Grown Woman”?

“Women Stop the Chase” is about healing and restoration in the lives of women worldwide. The book is designed to minister to women who think that God has forgotten them when it comes to relationships.

“Women Stop the Chase” tackles the tough question, “Should Christian women pursue men in relationships?” In discussing this thought-provoking and colossal topic, the book uses Proverbs 18:22, which states, “He who finds a wife, finds a good thing and receives favor of the Lord,” as its foundational text.

This easy-to-read book and accompanying workbook provides a fresh and intriguing look on a topic that has perplexed women for years.

Joey Pinkney: Where did you get the inspiration to write “Women Stop the Chase: Let God’s Man Find You (Proverbs 18:22)”?

Dr. Mary M. Gillam: The inspiration for me to write “Women Stop the Chase” primarily originated from my own journey to understand God’s plan for relationships.
